Compact and agile on the roads, the VW T6.1 van shares a footprint with a large family car so you can still park in a normal space, and at 2m tall it will fit under most low bridges and car park height restrictions.

The VW California sleeps up to four people, with two in the pop-top roof bed and the seating area also converting into a comfortable double.

Winter camping? Not a problem. The VW California Ocean is fitted with an auxiliary heater to ensure you are always warm and cosy even on the chilliest nights.

The lower bed features features a reclining function, allowing you to adjust the bed to a comofrtable position – ideal for reading a book, watching a film, or opening the panoramic pop-top roof window to enjoy the evening sky.

The kitchen is equipped a fridge, a two-burner gas hob and a sink with washing up bowl.  You’ll also find saucepans, cooking utensils, kettle and crockery and cutlery, plus eco-friendly cleaning products and Dock & Bay quick-dry tea towels.

Two sliding doors front the kitchen cupboards, which provide ample pantry space for your trip. The cupboards can be accessed while the lower bed is extended – be sure to store the mugs on the top shelf within easy reach for coffee in bed!

Would you belive this small van contains two tables and an extra two outside chairs? Cleverly concealed, you’ll find an outdoor table with collapsable legs stowed in the door, plus two camping chairs stashed in the tailgate. With a roll-out awning fitted to the side, the outside has never looked more welcoming.

Behind the rear seats you’ll find genrous boot space, as well as a wardrobe and cuboard with shelves for storage. Inside the wardrobe, a small sliding cupboard acts a blind to the small window, as well as providing extra space to stash your things. You’ll also find room in the ‘airline locker’ above the seats, and in the pull-out draw below them.
